Privacy notice

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This notice explains how Adam Bridges, trading as 365 Shiatsu, handles personal information when you visit this website or contact me about Shiatsu sessions.

Who is responsible for your information?

Adam Bridges, trading as 365 Shiatsu, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact me at hello@365shiatsu.co.uk.

What information may I receive?

If you email me, I may receive your name, email address and the details you choose to include in your message, along with correspondence about an enquiry or appointment. Please avoid including detailed medical or other sensitive information in an initial email unless it is necessary.

How do I use it?

I use enquiry information to respond to you, answer questions and, if you choose to proceed, communicate about arranging a session. I aim to collect only information that is relevant to these purposes.

My reasons for using information

I use ordinary contact and enquiry information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before arranging a session, to provide an agreed service, or for legitimate interests such as managing enquiries and running the practice fairly and securely. If I need to collect health information or other special-category data, I will establish and explain the appropriate additional legal condition before collecting and using it.

Email and service providers

Website enquiries are initiated through your own email application; this website does not currently use an online booking form. Messages sent to hello@365shiatsu.co.uk are forwarded to my existing Gmail inbox. Email and website providers may process information as part of delivering their services and under their own privacy terms.

How long is information kept?

I keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting appointment and maintain appropriate business records. The period depends on the nature of the enquiry and any legal obligations. I will review information periodically and securely delete it when it is no longer needed. If I introduce client or treatment records, I will establish an appropriate retention schedule and update this notice.

Keeping information secure

I take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including restricting access to the accounts and records I use. Email is not a fully confidential channel, so please contact me before sending detailed health information if you are unsure about the best way to share it.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct it, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, or request a portable copy. To make a request, email hello@365shiatsu.co.uk. I may need to verify your identity before responding.

Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact me first so I can try to resolve it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this notice

I may update this notice if my practices or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its update date.
